Rani Angarkha

The Rani Kurta is impeccably tailored in 'kalis' or panels of handwoven tissue and handwoven pachranga silk. The kurta features a keyhole detail as seen in an Awadhi Jama.

The Pachranga silk is painstakingly handwoven by our artisans in Banaras with a specialised dyeing and warp preparation where the yarn is divided into five equal parts, each of which are dyed in five different colours. The warp is then placed as per a specific sequence before weaving.
