During the rule of the Nizams, the Toshakhana (treasure box) housed the royal fabrics that were methodically numbered and labelled. Over the years, the treasure box has evolved into an object that not just holds stories of the past with carefully preserved fabrics, photographs and jewellery but also signifies a new beginning. With this collection, we look to reviving some long-lost weaves, in a new light, with the finest yarn and details of heritage hand embroidery.
