Kesari Sharara

The Kesari Sharara is inspired by the shararas that feature the 'chatta patti ka kaam' from Awadh. The flouncy sharara is tailored in handwoven tissue and features a border of handwoven pachranga tissue.

The Pachranga tissue and silk is painstakingly handwoven by our artisans in Banaras with a specialised dyeing and warp preparation where the yarn is divided into five equal parts, each of which are dyed in five different colours. The warp is then placed as per a specific sequence before weaving.
