The Gulabi Sayonee Kurta features an overlay layer of silk organza with a neckline cut in our signature arch and panels of handwoven silk brocade along the sleeve cut in a similar manner. The kurta is layered over a slip of handwoven silk brocade, the floral design of which is revived from a jaal from the early 1920s, handwoven by our artisans in Banaras.

The kurta is paired with the Pachranga Azeez Sharara tailored in our signature handwoven pachranga silk tissue. The Gulabi Sayonee Odhni completes the look, featuring a hand embroidered border of sequins and corners of chaand and floral motifs, hand embroidered in Ganga jamuni zari and sequins.

The Pachranga tissue is painstakingly handwoven by our artisans in Banaras with a specialised dyeing and warp preparation where the yarn is divided into five equal parts, each of which are dyed in five different colours. The warp is then placed as per a specific sequence before weaving.
